Review: Down Shift by K.Bromberg! @KBrombergDriven

The New York Times bestselling Driven series continues with a standalone story about finding love where you least expect it…

Behind the wheel, racing champion Zander Donavan is at the top of his game. But after too much excess in his personal life, he’s forced to step away. He needs to accomplish something all on his own—outside of his famous father’s shadow.

Getty Caster is running away from the abuse that clouds her past. She thinks she’s found the perfect escape—until she discovers a stranger in the beachside cottage she’d been promised. He’s undeniably sexy, but she’s there to heal. Alone.

Before long though, fighting with each other turns into fighting their attraction. And giving into desire sets off a chain reaction that has their pasts colliding. With an unexpected love on the line, can they overcome the fallout to build a future?
Brandi’s 4.5 star review
Is this really the eighth book in the Driven series?! You know that saying…when your having fun, time flies. That’s sure the case when it comes to this series since I have loved every single installment and hope that Ms. Bromberg keeps giving us more.

Where to start…Hmm….how about Zander! Oh this man is such a decadent treat. He’s sexy, dominating, moody but with a touch of sweet. He reminded me so much of his father and come on ladies, we all love that man!

From the first chapter, strap on your seatbelt because the plot is handed to us and the “oh, shit’s” will fly. We get dual POV’s since Zander is fighting his demons and Getty’s mystery past play a big role with these character’s. As these two connect, the plot is so engaging and the chemistry is perfection.

K. Bromberg does what she does best, she gives us a hell of a romance with character’s that will leave their mark.
