LET’S GIVE ‘EM SOMETHING TO TALK ABOUT . . .
If gossip is the lifeblood of a small town, then Lizzy Logan has been its beating heart. After being dumped by her fiancé for another woman, she could have decided to crawl under a rock. But no, she’d rather really set tongues wagging by “moving on” with one of the hottest cowboys in Texas, who happens to live next door at the Lucky Penny Ranch. Those busybodies don’t have to know it’s actually all pretend. And just because Lizzy has no aim to tame her wild, blue-eyed neighbor doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy the ride of her life. Toby Dawson never was and never will be the settling-down type. But what harm could there be in agreeing to be Lizzy’s pretend boyfriend? They’ll put on a show for a few weeks and be done. Yet the more he gets to know Lizzy-really know her-the harder it is for him to keep his hands off of her in private. Soon this rough-and-ready cowboy is hoping to heal Lizzy’s bruised heart and turn their fake affair into a true romance . . . Also in the Lucky Penny Ranch series: Wild Cowboy Ways Merry Cowboy Christmas Wicked Cowboy Charm

Review:
See my review for It Took a Rumor!!! Gossip be bad!!!

Lizzy tried to be someone she is not. Don’t do this ladies…you will be unhappy and worse you will be a liar in your own heart. Sensing her deceit, her fiancé dumped her and moved away with another woman. It was at this low point that Liz hooked up with Toby Dawson.

Toby is a manwhore…a wandering cowboy who loves ‘em and leaves ‘em. But after a few weeks of some of the best lovin’ he had ever had, Lizzy informs him that she needs to get serious about getting back on the horse (aka finding a husband).

Toby agrees, but then finds himself roped into being Lizzy’s fake boyfriend to prove to her spineless ex that she is not the down and out jilted girlfriend. But what actually happens is when the “lovin’” is removed from the equation, Toby and Lizzy develop a true friendship, a common bond and a real relationship. I loved how natural it began to feel, especially for Toby, who had never really had a relationship before. The sense of calm each had with the other was a beautiful thing to read. I really enjoyed watching Toby grow up and grow a pair…real men can commit to one woman!

As the town fights back at the Lucky Penny Ranch and town gossips try to muddy Lizzy’s name and her love for Toby…it takes a few Hot Cowboy Nights to make these two realize that they belong together! Enjoy!!!
