From the author of the Capital Confessions Novels comes the first in the steamy Wild Aces Romance series.
U.S. Air Force fighter pilot Noah Miller—call sign Burn—loves nothing more than flying hard and fast. When he meets a gorgeous and sassy woman while partying in Las Vegas, he immediately locks on to her.
Jordan Callahan owns a thriving clothing boutique, but her love life is far less successful. Her luck changes when six feet, two inches of sexy swagger asks her to dance and turns her world upside down.
One scorching weekend becomes an undeniable chemistry that they can’t leave in Vegas. But the long distance relationship and their different lives threaten to ground their romance. And when the dangers of Noah’s job become all too real, Jordan learns being with a fighter pilot means risking it all for a shot at love…
The weird thing…the whole time I am reading it….I know this book, I’ve read this book before…then I get to the end and the promo for book two and I totally read that book before…like 2-3 years ago….in search of its other title, as I do not have it checked as read…hmmmm…maybe someone could help a girl out with her memory problems!
Onto the book…I loved the story and while it was hard understand why Jordan was so reserved about her belief in love, I enjoyed Noah convincing her that he and their relationship were worth her time and her energy and her sacrifices.
These two burn up the sheets in Vegas and while both have very different lives, neither wants their week in Vegas to be the end of their time together. As the weeks progress and Jordan visits Noah, they forge a new bond that only the two of them really understand. I loved that Jordan believed in that part and fought for Noah with her mother. Of course no parent wants have their children move far away, Jordan’s mother was not putting Jordan first. I was glad when Jordan put herself first and in doing so, put Noah first.
The ups and downs of Military life are nothing I am familiar with, but so appreciative of those who serve, who have served and who have supported those who serve/served. This story combines both a smexy love story with the complications of military deployments. Enjoy!
