Any couple who spends the night in the Christmas cottage shall have love everlasting… Lacey Quinn did not believe in happily ever after or the legend of the Christmas cottage. As maid of honor for her best friend Ava, her duties included decorating the cottage for the newlyweds. It was a simple enough task, but she hadn’t counted on sexy Ean Callahan, the bride-to-be’s brother, to be assisting her. Spending the evening ensconced in the overly romantic setting while a blizzard howls outside has Lacey wondering if fairy tales really do come true…

She walked away from her fairy-tale wedding in search of her true happily ever after. She hadn’t counted on it coming searching for her first.

Eight months after canceling her wedding, Ava Callahan finally has her life in order and sees nothing but blue skies ahead. A chance encounter with the man responsible for ruining her wedding has her newly organized world in chaos.

Brian McCabe had preserved for eight long months seeking the woman he loves and his patience was about to expire. Purposely putting himself in every path Ava was on might not always work to his advantage, but he wanted to make sure that she truly saw him for who he was.
Her happily ever after…

Karia’s review:
This was a book of second chance romance…always a favourite…so add in Christmas and a wedding or two…yee haw!
The first book was supposed to be about Ava’s wedding, which was rapidly turning into a Bridezilla extravaganza! Ava was striving so hard for the “perfect” wedding and “perfect” life and “perfect” man that she seemed to overlook so many red flags. I was so glad her BFF Lacey and her brother Ean were there to talk her down. While their advice seemed to fall on deaf ears, Lacey and Ean found their connection that Lacey had believed never existed and Ean tried hard to ignore. Their age gap as teens may have been ghastly, but now as adults who have made their own lives and careers, they were both ready to find true love. While their HEA came at Ava’s expense, she was better off and we the reader found out in her book, Ever After, that her true love was there waiting all along. When she was ready for love, Brian moved in and made it known that he was there to stay. But Ava, being Ava and still about 10% Bridezilla-type, had to do things the hard way. I enjoyed her internal battle almost as much as I loved Brian making it way too hard not to fall in love with him. A great Christmas read, enjoy!
