Harper’s a woman with a knack for running away, until she finds a Miami tattoo artist willing to ink over her horrific scars. Trent, local legend and the owner of the Second Circle tattoo studio, is happy to take on the challenge of designing a meaningful full-back tattoo for her. But when cryptic messages start appearing on Harper’s phone and Second Circle is vandalized, Harper is convinced her ex-boyfriend has tracked her down. Running was the only thing that saved her last time, but now that she’s started to put down roots in Miami, she’ll have to decide if she can finally fight back instead.
Brandi’s 4 star review!
The Strongest Steel put me through an emotional tailspin that I loved! I instantly connected with Harper and the tragedy that she carries on her back. The fear and hopelessness of her situation really touched me and I enjoyed taking the journey with her towards renewed strength and happiness.
Harper moved to Miami a few years prior since her safety was in jeopardy. After a tragic night with her ex that’s left permanent scars, she goes to one of the best tattoo artist to see if he can cover them to help her move forward. It takes steps for her to be able to have someone touch her and Trent is just the man to handle her with kitten gloves. He is beyond sweet and understanding and they form a bond that leads to Harper thinking of a possible future. However, not everything is easy since her ex is up for parole and signs start showing that Harper’s past has caught up with her.
