A Family Saga with humor, heat and heart–not to mention beer, bourbon and basketball!
Antony Love is the quintessential responsible oldest brother of a boisterous, Italian/Irish family, placed in charge at a young age by his parents who are busy running the family business. He manages his siblings with a fair but iron hand, until his life is shattered by personal tragedy leaving him the shell of the man he once was.
When outspoken matriarch Lindsay Halloran Love becomes ill, the youngest brother Aiden shows up at Antony’s garage, having dropped out of school (again), needing work and a place to crash. Antony provides both, with three caveats: “Don’t smoke in my truck, don’t be late for work, and don’t mess with my girlfriend.”
But Aiden Love, budding novelist, gets one glimpse of Rosalee Norris, young widow of Antony’s lifelong best friend and all bets are off.

Karia’s Rant….
Honestly…no idea how to rate this one…disliked these idiots for like 75% of the book! But, had to keep reading like watching an episode of a tortured soap opera??? I hate when they find their love and even say I love you…the go f*&$ someone, ahem…his brother and stay engaged to people they don’t love…ugggg what can I say???
I was not just angry…but furious at Antony, Aiden and Lindsay. What a messed up love triangle. Antony lost his ever lovin’ mind when his wife died. And…his whole family enabled his horrific behaviour, especially with respect to his abuse and neglect of his daughter. I could not tolerate or feel empathetic towards him one bit. Then, you add on his coveting of his best friend’s widow…uggg, seriously. He didn’t love her or even really care for her, but “banged” her and then felt obliged to put a ring on it! Lindsay is not much better. At first sight she knows she has feelings for Aiden, but denies them and him, only to have wall banging sex with him in his parents basement with her “fiancé” Antony upstairs!!! Then to make matters worse, Lindsay and Antony go to therapy to deal with Antony’s issues and his relationship with his daughter only to have Antony become conflicted between his feelings for his therapist and those for Lindsay. Are you keeping up??? Instead of bowing out gracefully and accepting her love for Aiden, Lindsay makes everything worse and fights harder for her man…which one you ask??? Not telling. Oh, what a tangled web we weave…
So, if you like family drama with a capital D, random hook ups and cheating…you will love this book. The happy every after was the only reason I finished this book, because I had to know that the so much stupid was gonna get some happiness. Enjoy!
