HOT FOR TEACHER
As the new head of the English department, Dani doesn’t have much time for anything but lesson planning and literature. Romance—or even sex? Forget about it. But then the principal introduces her to last-minute hire Nate Ryan. Finding time to mentor a new teacher won’t be easy, especially when his incredible body and equally disarming charisma are enough to make her heart skip a beat . . .
Nate may be fresh out of school, but he’s confident in his teaching skills—and in his feelings for Dani. But while she’s everything he’s ever wanted, he knows his place on her staff—and his age—may be problematic for his sexy boss. How can he convince her to ignore the gossip mill currently in full swing in the teacher’s lounge and surrender to what’s meant to be?
Karia’s less than raving review…
Luke warm would be how I describe this book. Maybe it was because I hadn’t read books 1-3, but I just could not embrace Dani. I truly felt like she was beeyach for like 85% of the book. If I was told by her one more time that she was Nate’s “boss” and she was old, I was gonna hurl. The head of a department is not the boss. The only even true boss in the school is the Principle and VP. Yes, if she told the Principle he was having inappropriate relations with the kids or he was not teaching…yes, then he could get in trouble. But other than that, seriously…not that big a deal. The old thing…I actually thought she was like 45+ by the way she acted and talked…not be in her early 30’s. Seriously…she irked me. Nate…ahhhh…why was he so awesome, and sweet, and sexy and smart?!?!?! I wanted him to be treated kindly and with respect, but Dani would only go so far and then shut him down. I tell my girlfriends, family, heck anyone who will listen: “No good comes from emasculating your man!” Just don’t do it. Let your man, regardless of age and even skill level in the classroom, be the man. Maybe I am old fashion, but I like men who know what they want and go after it while supporting their woman to go after her dreams. Give and take. That was what seemed missing, Dani thought she had to run the show, make the decisions and enforce her life plan…just before I gave up on her she realized that she can still be independent, successful and happily committed to strong, manly man! Enjoy!
